Bumpeez toys are another of the ‘playground craze’ small collectibles brands such as Moshi Monsters or Morbs.
Bumpeez are sold blind bagged and consist of two parts. Each pack contains two Bumpeez. Bumpeez toys have an outer softer plastic ring, of which there are several shapes, into which can be fitted one of the harder plastic discs, each with a character design, name and numerical value.
Series 1 has 100 Bumpeez to collect. Each Bumpee is numbered from 001 to 100. Each named Bumpeez character has a numerical value to enhance tradability.
Omar numbered 100 is the rarest character in Series 1. ‘Swirly’ two-colour outer rings are rarer than the single coloured ones. Gold Bumpeez are the most valuable as each has a code to enter a draw to win prizes.
Toy Bumpeez can be collected, traded and played with. Suggested gameplays include ‘Bounce’, ‘Darts’ and ‘Spin’. Bumpeez are very bouncy, spin well and can be thrown at a target too. You can also buy the Bumpeez Album to display the toys as well as the Bumpeez Collector Bag.
The ultimate Bumpeez toy to find is the Golden Bumpee with which fans can enter draws to win Bumpeez prizes.
Bumpeez toys are aimed at both boys and girls from ages 5 up to 11.
The Bumpeez brand was first launched in summer 2011 by Dutch company Glow Europe who hope to roll out their fab new pocket-money toy worldwide.
