PJ Masks toys are coming to stores in autumn 2016.
Brand new preschool animation PJ Masks is the property of Entertainment One. The show debuted on the Disney Junior channel in America and was subsequently broadcast in many other territories around the world.
Based on a series of picture books, Les Pyjamesques, by French author Romuald Racioppo, PJ Masks revolves around three ordinary kids that can transform into super heroes with the help of a gizmo on their wrists that magically links into their pyjamas. Thus Connor, Greg and Amaya become Catboy, Gekko and Owlette.
Florida-based Just Play, who make and distribute toys for Disney, Marvel, Fox and Nickelodeon amongst others, are the new master toy partner. Just Play are set to release a range of action figures, playsets, vehicles and plush toys based around the PJ Masks characters. There will also be an extensive range of dress up and role play toys. The toys are available in the UK, Europe and the rest of the world from 2017. The UK distributor is Flair.
Look out for four new PJ Masks playsets – the Transforming Figure Set, HQ Training Room, Launch N Go Rival Racers, and, the HQ Playset. PJ Masks figure assortments are set for release throughout 2017.
Backed by a dedicated website, music videos and a free app PJ Masks toys could transform the retail space.
