
Moshi Monsters toys and Moshi Moshlings figures have grown out of the huge online success of Mind Candy’s Moshi Monsters kids website.

Revolutionising the toy trade, this viral toy brand started life as a purely virtual community in whick kids can adopt a Moshi Monster pet and share messages and more with other Moshi fans online. With Moshi’s online success however, global demand for ‘real world’ Moshi toys has proved insatiable.

In the UK, independent British toy company Vivid Imaginations are the master toy licensee for socal online games developer Mind Candy’s Moshi Monsters. UK-based Mind Candy was formed in 2004 and owns the rights to the new Moshi Monsters global toy phenomenon . Spinmaster is the US distributor of Moshi Monsters toys and Moshi Moshlings.
Vivid are rolling out a growing army of plush Moshi Monsters toys and collectible Moshlings figures. Series 1 Moshi Monsters comprised 48 Moshlings including 12 Ultra Rare Moshlings. Series 2 Moshi Monsters comprised 24 Moshlings figures including 6 Ultra Rares. Series 3 also featured 24 Moshi Monsters.


Moshi Monsters Series 4 were released in Autumn 2012.

Moshi Monsters Moshlings are sold in five packs and in blind bags with two Moshling figures per pack. Each pack contains a numbered Moshlings Collector Card with a secret code which unlocks Moshi characters or items in the Moshi Monsters online game.
To go with the figures, Vivid have released Moshi Monsters playsets. The first set was the Moshling Treehouse with exclusive Roxy Moshling figure. Followed in 2012 by the Moshling Zoo toy. Moshling Zoo toys are set to be every bit as big as their Moshling cousins.

Vivid will further charm with the Squashi Moshi; Moshlings that squeak when squeezed. Autumn 2012 sees the release of the Super Moshi HQ, the Moshi House Playset and Moshi App Monsters. Moshi App Monster features four modes – Dress Up, Monster, Super Moshi and DJ. Download the app, place a smart phone in the plush App Monster to see your Moshi come to life.
2013 sees the release of Vivid’s miniature Moshlings range called Micro Moshlings or Micro Moshi figures and Moshi Micro collectables pack containing seven figures. The Moshling Theme Park Playset goes with the Micro Moshi’s range. Hero toy for 2013 is the Moshi Monsters Moshling Mall Playset.

The Moshling Mall Playset features a spa zone with light and sound effects, play zone, light-up disco ball, spinning basket lift, magic stair slide and two exclusive Moshlings figures.

The ever-expanding universe of Moshi Moshlings merchandise includes the Where’s Moshi guessing game, Top Trumps Moshi Monsters, Moshi Mash Up Trading Cards, Moshi Bandz and the Talking Plush Moshi Monsters figures. New in 2012 are Moshi Monsters Charmlings, Bracelets, Keychains and Zippsters.
In addition new creative toy partner Mega Brands is launching Mega Bloks Moshi Monsters toy playsets and figures.

Look out also for Moshi Monsters Clay Buddies comprising 2 cardboard cutout Moshi characters, 3 coloured clay strips and an adopt-a-Moshi book.

New in 2012 are Innovation First’s Moshi Monsters Bobble Bots. Moshi Bobble Bots toys use the same vibrating technology found in the hexbug to buzz around customizable Bobble Bots playsets. Bobble Bots Moshi Monsters have a secret code to unlock items on the Moshi website.
In fact, in 2012 over thirty new Moshi products will be introduced. Look out for the Super Moshi HQ, Moshi House Playset, Moshi Monsters Super Seeds plush and the exciting new Moshi App Monsters.

New licensee Hornby, famous for die-cast toy vehicles, will produce Moshi Monsters cars and pin badges to include Zommer, Poppet, Luvli, Furi, Diavolo and Katsuma.

Hornby, under the Corgi brand, are also releasing the Moshi Monsters Fun Bus.
Plus, from H. Grossman a new range of toy Moshi Monsters Fizz Pods. And from The In Thing a range of exclusive Moshi figures with each Gelli Baff Moshi Goo bathtime set.
The Moshi Monsters brand is leading the way in demonstrating the power of online social gaming for traditional bricks and mortar toy companies.
