Character Options are the current Master Licensee for Scooby Doo Toys. Character’s range of Scooby Doo toys is expanding all the time with more Scooby figures and playsets being added. Scooby toys are coming to more and more countries all the time.

Already Scooby Doo toys are sold in the UK and continental Europe and are now even more widely available in the US. That’s got to be great news for Scooby Doo toy fans!

Scooby Doo has been hungrily solving mysteries since 1969. The show was first created by Hanna Barbera, though since 2001 Scooby has had a worthy new owner in Warner Bros who have at last taken Scooby Doo onto the big screen.

The Scooby Doo show has undergone several makeovers over the years but the adorable mystery-solving hound has remained a constant. Mystery Inc – Fred, Velma, Daphne and Shaggy – would be nothing without their intrepid talking canine sleuth riding with them in the Mystery Machine.

In the end Scooby is always there to help unmask the scary monsters and prove they are only too human after all.

Scooby Doo – We Love You!

The first decade of the 21st century has witnessed an explosion of Scooby Doo themed toys, games and figures. But it wasn’t always this way.

The first real Scooby merchandise were the comic books, the first of which by Gold Key Comics ran until 1974. By the mid-seventies more Scooby toys were around including Scooby Doo lunch boxes and board games.
The 80’s and 90’s were a quieter time till the Scooby Doo revival took hold with the screening of the show on Cartoon Network from 1995. The current success of Scooby has been cemented with the release in 2002 of Warner Bros Scooby Doo movie and associated merchandise. Not to mention the success of the sequel Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed in 2004.

Sought after early Scooby Doo collectables include the 4×4 Super Friction Scooby Rally with Figure vehicle and figure boxed sets. There were six to collect. Other examples of early Scooby Doo figures include the Bend-Ems by Justoys and Bendy (Fat) by Warner Bros Scooby Doo toys.

Todays collectable Scooby Doo toys by Character Options mark a high point in Scooby fandom, but there will always be a growing affection for vintage Scooby Doo toys and figures amongst fans and collectors.
