Voltron Force toys are based on the new Voltron Force animated cartoon series which in turn is an update of the classic Voltron cartoon from the 1980s.
The Voltron Force brand is geared towards boys aged 6 and upwards.
US toy giant Mattel are releasing a range of classic Voltron toys based on the original 80s cartoon Voltron: Defender of the Universe. Mattel are also releasing new Voltron Force toys based on the contemporary Voltron Force series.
Complementing the Mattel Voltron toy lines will be new Voltron Force comic books, graphic novels and Voltron games.
The Voltron Force action figures debuted at the San Diego Comic Con 2011 to a very strong reception from classic and new Voltron fans. Voltron Force figures are fully articulated and highly collectable.
Further Voltron Force toys will follow in what looks set to be a very strong presence in the boys branded toy market.
