Dipdap toys are drawn from the popular short Dipdap cartoon.
The Dipdap show debuted in the UK on CBeebies. The endearing series of short animations are produced by Brighton based Ragdoll Productions. The series was created by British comics artist Steve Roberts.
The diminutive red robot-like Dipdap figure gets into a series of misadventures whilst following his creator’s line on screen. All kinds of objects are drawn in to confuse and amuse our little hero.
Currently, although there are no official Dipdap toys, creative parents have been known to draw up plans to make their own homemade unofficial line of Dipdap toys.
Whilst fans can easily picture a Dipdap toy, we can only wait and hope that a licensed toy partner will be pencilled in soon.
