Bottersnikes and Gumbles toys and merchandise are licensed from the iconic Australian book series recently made into a hilarious new animated show.
Dreamt up as a vehicle for entertaining kids whilst raising awareness about the preservation of the Australian Outback, the original Bottersnikes and Gumbles children’s classic was written by S. A. Wakefield in 1967. Wakefield went on to pen three popular sequels.
The Bottersnikes are permanently angry, studiously lazy creatures that make a total mess of the tip they live in. The Gumbles are tidy, good-natured, squashy, and nice, making them the perfect target for the lazy Bottersnikes.
First shown on Netflix, Bottersnikes and Gumbles the animated cartoon show was subsequently aired on CBBC, to massive acclaim from kids and parents alike.
Bottersnikes and Gumbles is just perfect for a range of playsets and figures. Plush and feature plush of all the show’s characters would be near the top of all kids’ wish lists.
Lisle Licensing have confirmed RP2 Global as the master toy partner for Bottersnikes and Gumbles. RP2 Global are releasing action figures in plastic and vinyl, as well as plush and role play for UK launch in mid-2018.
