Twirlywoos toys feature the colourful bird family stars of the Twirlywoos show.
The Twirlywoos is the stop-go animated kids show that debuted on Cbeebies in 2015. Exploring the world in their big red boat, the Twirlywoos love going on adventures, laughing, hiding and finding out about new things.
Co-produced by Canadian company DHX Media and Ragdoll Productions. Family-run Ragdoll Productions, based in Stratford-Upon-Avon, was founded by former school teacher Anne Wood who, prior to creating the Twirlywoos, created the Teletubbies and In the Night Garden.
The global master toy partner for Twirlywoos is Telford based UK preschool toy specialist Golden Bear. Multi award winning Golden Bear toys make and distribute a wide range of plush and plastic toys worldwide.
Twirlywoos toys are first available at retail in Summer 2015. The range, currently in development, features the diminutive multi-coloured bird-like characters from the show.
Expect soft, tactile mum and dad GreatBigHoo and Toodleoo Twirlywoos plush toys as well as the two younger characters, Chickedy and Chick. The plush toys will be available in two sizes with one interactive talking version.
In addition Golden Bear are launching a line of plastic Twirlywoos figures and playsets, plus bathtime toys and role play items. Hero item is set to be Golden Bear’s The Great Big Red Boat playset.
When Twirlywoos toys launch at retail they should literally fly off the shelves.
