Olly The Little White Van toys, or ‘Olly toys’ as kids call them, are made under license by Hornby and are based on the new preschool animated TV show Olly The Little White Van.
Debuting on CiTV, the exciting new 3D CGI series Olly The Little White Van is co-produced by British companies Ideas at Work and Blink Animations.
Always helpful Olly the Van resides at Bumpton Town with friends driver Stan, best friend Bazza (also a van), Bessie the ex-burger van, Jethro the Tractor, Royston the Fire Engine and Miss Florette the grocer.
Olly & Friends will all be released as die-cast vehicles. The main characters will be released as plastic figures. In addition there will also be an infra-red remote control Olly vehicle released by Corgi.
Olly the Van toys make their retail debut in Spring 2012. With iconic toy company Hornby on board Olly the Little White Van toys, under Hornby’s recently acquired Corgi brand, include die-cast collectables and electronic remote controlled Olly The Little White Van toy vehicles.
Corgi’s hero product is definitely the new Olly and Friends Playset which includes giant playmat and die-cast push-along Olly The Little White Van vehicle.
Even more excitingly, Hornby is also launching an Olly the Van Scalextric set aimed at preschoolers. The battery-powered Micro Scalextric Olly and Bazza set is released in Autumn 2012.
Olly the Little White Van toys are certain to appeal to preschoolers and with a cast of toy Olly vehicles the possibilities of extending this toy brand are unlimited.
