Mike the Knight toys are licensed toys from the Mike the Knight show on TV.
Mike the Knight toys will be available following the 52 twelve minute CGI Mike the Knight episodes shown on the BBC Cbeebies channel.
Expect the first Mike the Knight products from Autumn 2012. There’s sure to be plenty of Mike the Knight merchandise including figures, playsets, plush and collectable toys as well as Mike the Knight dress-up and role play toys.
Mike the Knight figures, castles and dragons will be high on fans’ wishlists. Character are releasing a variety of figures and playsets to recreate ‘The World of Mike the Knight’.
Hero product is undoubtedly the Mike’s Mission Room Playset, a deluxe playset with figures included. The Deluxe Mike’s Castle Playset includes a Mike the Knight figure and has a multi level tower with Mike’s bedroom at the top. There’s even a slide for Mike to whizz down onto Galahad the horse.
Other Mike the Knight playsets include Hairy Harry’s Horse Wash, the Glendragon Arena, a jousting set, and a Viking Ship. On Mike the Knight’s Viking Ship all the oars can be rowed together.
A new release for 2013 is Character’s Mike the Knight Castle Gatehouse playset. The Glendragon Castle Gatehouse Playset is a multi-tiered playset featuring a working portcullis, hidden treasure and castle turret. The Gatehouse Playset comes with many accessories including a telescope and stand.
Also new in 2013 are the Mike’s Catapult playset and Evie’s Cauldron playset. Mike’s Catapult comes with an exploding barrel and flour sack missiles. Evie’s Cauldron includes an Evie figure, Evie’s scooter, a cauldron and mini book of spells. All Mike the Knight playsets from Character can be interconnected.
Mike the Knight figures to collect include Mike, Mike in Playclothes, Sparkie, Evie with Mr Cuddles, Squirt, Trollee, and Fernando. All the figure packs come with accessories.
In role play toys look out for the new Mike the Knight Electronic Sword with motion activated music and combat sound effects. Woud-be Knights will also enjoy the Knight’s Mission Set with a foam sword and helmet just like Mike’s.
In plush Character are releasing their Mike Soft Toy and accompanying Sparkie Soft Toy, both featuring music and phrases from the show.
Mike the Knight is a co-production from HIT Entertainment and Nelvana . Character Options are the master toy licensee for Mike the Knight toys in the UK. The worldwide licensee is toy giant Mattel’s Fisher Price.
Other new licensee Inspiration Works are releasing the Mike the Knight Smart Shield, an innovative electronic toy shield.
Pre-school toy specialist Golden Bear are releasing a Mike the Knight Paint Your Own Money Box, as well as a Mike the Knight Sketchy Fun set.
Pre-schoolers will just adore Mike the Knight toys.
